Who operates Talenco

Talenco is operated by Zenico Technologies S.L. (“we”, “us”), a company established in Spain. Zenico Technologies S.L. is the data controller for personal data processed through the Talenco platform.

What data we collect

Depending on how you use Talenco, we may process:

• Account data: name, email address, authentication credentials, role (studio, company, or admin), and profile details you submit.
• Studio data: studio name, description, website, country, specialties, team size, pricing range, VAT number, portfolio materials, and verification status.
• Company data: company profile information used to browse studios and send project briefs.
• Inquiry data: project briefs, budget and timeline ranges, messages between companies and studios, and deal status.
• Commission and invoice data: reported deal values, commission amounts, payment status, and generated invoice PDFs when a deal is marked closed won.
• Technical data: basic logs and security related information needed to operate authentication, hosting, and email delivery.

Why we use it

• Create and manage accounts, and authenticate users.
• Review and verify studio applications before listings go live.
• Operate the marketplace: profiles, inquiries, favorites, and deal tracking.
• Send transactional emails about applications, verification, and inquiries.
• Calculate commissions and issue bank transfer invoices when a deal is marked closed won.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and meet legal or accounting obligations.

Where data is stored and who processes it

We run Talenco on Google Firebase. In practice that means:

• Firebase Authentication for sign in and account identity.
• Cloud Firestore for account, studio, inquiry, commission, and platform records.
• Firebase Storage for files such as portfolio assets and invoice PDFs.
• Firebase Trigger Email extension to send transactional emails.

Google acts as a processor for these services. Data may be processed in the European Union or in other regions where Google operates its infrastructure, subject to applicable safeguards.

Legal bases

We process data where needed to perform a contract with you (for example running your account or studio listing), where we have a legitimate interest in operating and securing the marketplace, where you have given consent (for example accepting this notice when you apply), or where we must comply with legal obligations such as tax and invoicing records.

How long we keep data

We keep account and marketplace data while your account is active and for as long as needed to operate Talenco. Commission and invoice records may be retained longer where accounting or legal rules require it. If you ask us to delete your account, we will remove or anonymize personal data that is not required for those obligations.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Studio profiles that are approved may be shown to companies on the marketplace. Inquiry details are shared between the company and studio involved in that inquiry, and with Talenco admins as needed to operate the product. We share data with infrastructure providers described above only to run the service.

Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA or otherwise protected by GDPR style rules, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. In Spain, that is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).
